Who am I, and why should I be apart of your next project?
Hello!
My name is Antonio Ortiz! I am a professional classically trained vocalist from Cincinnati, OH. I graduated from Miami University with a degree in Vocal Music Performance, and have taken part in plays, musicals, opera, and many vocal forums in my time there. I have lots of passion and interest in this line of work and am looking to make my mark in the industry.
I am able to make very tight turnarounds on extraneous projects, and have access to a home studio, along with top of the line audio software and studio soundproofing. I also have a great degree of interest in the film industry, as shown by my minor in Film Studies at Miami University. This has allowed me to see and appreciate good storytelling, and has helped me refine my craft to cater to any situation. My enthusiasm for this field cannot be understated, and I only hope I'm given the opportunity to show this through audiobooks, voice acting, and narration!
Do I have a specialty?
I love doing voice-over character work and short form narration, but I have an extreme passion for storytelling as well. My versatility makes me a great pick for audiobooks, and I’m always willing to work with people to get the best vocal tone and character specificity as possible.
If I had to pick any project to do, it would be to work on a video game. That would be a dream come true!
In addition, I am also a talented vocalist! As I mentioned before, I was a Vocal Music major at Miami University, and I mostly focused on classical tunes. This experience has given me great technique and endurance when performing. Currently, I am apart of a classic rock band called Reel2Real in Cincinnati, Ohio to get that singing fix in my life.
